What am I – 670 Chair and 671 Ottoman

What am I?

Here’s your answer to yesterday’s “What am I?” I am the famous Lounge chair 670 and Ottoman 671 designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956 to replace the overstuffed wingchair. It was made of laminated Rosewood with leather padding and the same bend was used for all the pieces. This chair and Van der Rohe’s Barcelona Chair are considered the two greatest furniture designs for the 20th Century.

I am posting Interior Design Brain Teasers to see if you know some of the terminology used in Interior Design. It’s all for fun, feel free to share it with your friends if you think they will be interested.
