Sales Representative

Sales Representative

Being a Sales Representative in the Design Industry involves having a good knowledge of the product you are promoting and how it is used in the design industry. I will give you an example as I did this role for a couple of years in the Paint Industry. You need to know what the needs are of the designer or Architect and how your product will work with their project. You need to be able to create specifications for their project and be the expert in the area you are working in. It is a great way to specialize in an area of design. I have strong color skills, so working for a paint company Dulux, allowed me to help others with my color knowledge and keep learning more about paint.
